It all started on a hot summer day in Texas back in 2008 (but what day in Texas isn’t hot?). Two friends, who were polar opposites, set out to photograph life’s moments in their own way and Odd Couple Photography was born!

But then one friend moved away to St. Louis and brought the business with her. She is Jenny Barfield.

A little bit from Jenny

I don’t just take pictures, I capture emotions. Real smiles and tears are what I look for and strive to get on film…well, digital film.

I’ve apprenticed and learned from many amazing photographers and have been shooting pro for over 14 years.

I love to laugh and not take life too seriously (I was going to start this bio with a Star Wars reference but was strongly urged against it).

I’m a Nikon girl!

When not busy shooting or editing or designing albums, I enjoy spending time with my two favorite goofballs – my 2 daughters.

We decided to move to St. Louis to be closer to family and experience what the other three seasons are.
